Process Scan utility of OpUtils software provides the list of all processes running in a given IP node.
Click the Tools tab
Choose the System Explorer available under Network Monitoring category.
Select the Process Scan from the tree
Enter either the IP Address or the Host Name of the device in the text field.
Enter the SNMP Community String.
To configure SNMP properties click Settings located at the top right corner or click Admin -> Settings. For details read the Configuring SNMP section.
Click the Show button.
Check the results. The
results include the Process Name; (
i.e., the processes/programs running in the desktop); the Process
ID (i.e., the system allotted process ID for the process); the
Process Path (i.e., the location
from where the process has been initiated); the Process
Type (i.e.,the type of process - application/system call etc);
and the Process Status. The process
status shown are
running(1)
runnable(2) - waiting for resource (CPU, memory, IO)
notRunnable(3) - loaded but waiting for event
invalid(4) - not loaded

Note: To retrieve data, the system should be SNMP enabled and the SNMP agent should have implemented HOST-RESOURCES-MIB. |
